Chedman13's FX45 -> Handy_Andy = Winning

I'm torn between black or brick carpeting. I'm so ready to do the swap. I have ordered 100 sq ft of B-Quiet. While the entire interior is out, it definitely the best time to lay the B-Quiet down. The car is so quiet as it comparing to my 35. I think I will hear pin drops after the B-Quiet. Hahaha, I kids.

Anyone know where I can get the floor carpeting made? I will try www.weberbrothersauto.com as I see a couple with black carpets in them.

I would keep the Black carpeting if the conditions are equal between. Have fun laying out the B-quiet, was a PITA when gone thru it.
 
Where have you been Mike? I have two FX and Ed has none, but he got a newer bigger car(minivan). :wink (2):

Let me know when you might be doing this. I've always wanted to see how that dampening was applied and felt

Andy if you wrap a couple of sheets of b-quiet around your head the Db's on most everything will drop, FX, kids, wife......plus your cost will be MUCH lower - probaly 6 linear feet (this is a guesstimate never seen your head, don't know how big it is) rather than 100 Sq. feet. What did you use to connect your Droid for video? I have a NavandTV to go hooked up, it's running video off my iPod. But I'm not sure where I can find the mini HDMI to RCA's I'd need to make a Droid work. It would be nice to stream video while driving. Thanks.

Lance, are you saying laying down the B-Quiet is not really necessary? I'm over my head on this?
 
Hah, is it possible for you to get over your head on anything vehicle related?:) nah, the B-quiet is an amazing add, if anything I'm jelly. Just had this great vision in my head of you wearing a b-quiet silence helmet. You know if I was there I'd be camped out sound deadening right alongside you.
 
On a serious note you will be taking pics snd desribe the carpet removal process? Something I've wanted to do but didn't want to rip up anything glued in place.
 
So, I swap the BBK today. I decided to keep the JBT. Nothing wrong with the AP Racing, just my preference.

I still can't believe that I own it now. It was so well maintained and modded. Loving every bit of it.
