Chedman13's 2011 Volkswagen Routan SEL Premium

That's what she said.

Thule Roadway 914 4-Bike carrier and Thule 982 frame adapter to attach women's bike.

I forgot what you expert bike carriers were suggesting, but this one looked cool and I can open the rear hatch with it on. Any comments?

Wow, I'm a bit late to the party as I was out of town, but glad your happy with the VW purchase and sorry to see the FX go.

I have the SE w/ RSE and nav and love it! The brakes are bad tho so ur gonna want to change those out. Rim choices are pretty bad as well due to 5x5 bolt config, but I'm sure u'll figure something out! Congrats and welcome! Haha

What brakes you recommend? Pad and rotor change?

Not sure if there is a bbk for it:)

Yeah I saw wheel choice is horrible on tirerack.

Even a cheap set with winters and tpms is over $1,000!

Maybe I should do HRE's. Just follow in turbocads footsteps.

Strange how similar to the Chrysler it is, though MUCH better looking. I didn't know they collaborated on anything. Does it have lug bolts (like the other VAG cars)?

Ed, seriously rock the euro tuner look on the Routan with 19" or 20" BBS LMs. If I kept my Audi I would be rocking these now.

Tim, what makes you think this is similar to a Chrysler? Maybe this sticker?

Yes, it has lug bolts. Just like my BMW. Not sure if I like it.

VW did a nice job with the Chrysler, I am thoroughly impressed, day 2 of ownership.

Wow. "Collaboration" indeed.

The wifey express has lug bolts. Dumbest thing I've ever seen.

I have to say, it looks really nice for a family hauler and its way more powerful than I expected. How is it on the freeway? Can you turn the traction control off? ;)

283hp 260lbs/ft, 3.6L V6,17 city/25 highway mpg, 87 octane - I was shocked too.

FWD, not a fan - launching gives torques the steering wheel so you have to hold on tight.

Feels slow though coming from the FX45. The six speed is surprisingly nice.

Wow, people actually mod this mini-van.
