I'm going to Andy's to part out today.

2003 with 130,000 miles, fx45, tech, custom front bumper, custom roof rails, ap racing bbk, angel eyes, all gtspec braces, coilovers, intake, 24's iforged, 20's oz racing, custom rear taillights, custom rear bumper lights, full cat back exhaust hks/kakumei, led interior lights, rear DVD player, alpine sound system (upgrade from Bose), dice media bridge for iPhone, unichip, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

For a forum member, $20,000 gets you the car as-is and everything I have for the fx. But Better act fast and be serious, send me a PM to potentially stop me from going to Andy's this AM...

Wow, can't believe it. At least you have had plenty of time to enjoy the FX. At some point, it is always time to move on and family comes first. Good luck with the new car.
 
Ouh, just the wheels and tires alone is a little over a 1/3 of the asking price.

I don't like private party purchase due to the time involved.

I'll make an exception for forum members and hold off parting my car.

No problem Ed, give the guys a until this late afternoon or evening if the guys are serious about it. If no deal, you drive it out to me, I'll take you home in it; at lease I can get a last feel of her :smile (2): So your wife doesn't have to take a trip out.

I'm really torn as it is selling the car, another IS member to continue the FX ownership would be nice.
 
Don't tempt me like that. If it's black or sliver exterior, this post would never had happened.
 
If someone is serious about making a purchase they definitely need to get in contact with Ed to make it happen. Best of luck Ed with everything.
 
Would be nice to see the FX stay in the family and $20k for everything seems like a good deal with all the upgrades. Good luck with the sale :top:
 
Well at least if the FX is returned to stock and you sell the items to members from IS at least your FX will live on thru other members.
 
Ed, I'm closing in on the same route as you. The FX is getting too small with my growing family, and minivans just make much more sense. Sad day to see a beautiful FX get sold.

With all of Andy's skills, why don't you let him mod your coilovers and wheels to put them on the van! Lol.

Dang Ed, So very much time, money and love has poured into your Beast, but Family must come first. Hopefully someone will realize what a special 45 this is and she can find a good home. I would hate to see her torn up, best of luck with the sale bud! I do like the VW, nice choice for the Fam.
 
OK i see here why your selling your ride. Let me know if you sell the Stock and are selling the extra's separately. I would be interested in only certain one's
