Just logged onto infinitiscene. Looking to buy a QX70 at the end of the year so Im scoping out wheel mods etc. Ive owned a G35 sedan and coupe and they were great cars. Had a 240Z, 280Z and 300ZX. LOVE the Nissans!

Welcome Fatcrabb, I just joined a few days ago. I am in the process of getting various aero pieces for my car and the wheels and tires will come after that. I bought an 8 month old 2016 QX70 for about $17,000 below suggested retail so now I can do upgrades without blowing my budget.

Hey Jim, that's what I'm thinking too. Picking up a year old one and saving the depreciation. I'm not going to go crazy, probably wheels, tinting I don't know anything after that. I want to get something looks kind of aggressive though. Like staggered 20s.

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to the scene. If my wife knew how much this place is gonna cost me over time im sure she'd cancel my account LOL!!

After 230,000 miles I sold my '03 to next door neighbor, bought it two years old >40,000 miles every possible option, about $30K. Only used the back seat DVD player about twice. Loved it!

Just purchased a '13 with everything except the lane departure/intelligent braking option; it has the 20" wheels quilted seats, nav, you know...29,000 miles, certified, $32K. Like New, not even a parking lot door ding. Hell, who can tell a 2013 from a 2017, that's not already an Infiniti owner anyway?

Long story short, unless you have more money than you need, get a nice year or two old one, preferably certified, and save $20K. They're out there, and unfortunately or, fortunately these vehicles although they haven't changed much in 8 years, take a beating on depreciation. You can either take advantage of the situation, pay cash, or likely be "Upside down," in your Infiniti as soon as you drive it off the dealership if it's financed.

Most are driven by financially responsible adults, I mean, who gets one of these for their 16 year old?
