I had a chance to check out the 09 FX50S yesterday and it comes with 21" wheels and a MSRP of 65,000.00 ouch! Guess I will be waiting till I can get one around 4 years from now used.I liked the new interior. I guess the new headlight and tailight configuration would probably grow on me.:top:

it can be had for less... those things (when and I say "those", I'm talkin' not-so-fuel-efficent-cars), aren't moving much nowadays... every month they sit in the lot... it's the dealer's lost.
 
I also got a chance to see the new FX tonite. The dealer was closed, but I did a walk around & peered through the windows. I hate it . . . sorry Nissan. I think it has lost all it's cool. The shapes & form lines are just too ambiguous for my tastes. Besides the interior, & I'm sure excellent mechanicals . . . it's just plain ugly in my eyes. It's lost all the coolness factor it had. & that hood! A bulbous mess. I'm sure it's a fantastic car, & when some of us get it, the mods are gonna help it plenty, but I just plain dont like the exterior. It could have been sooo much cooler . . . had to vent . . then I hopped back into a very good looking wagon . . & drove away. I do look forward to driving it though. But that front end . . . ugh :eek:

The front of it is awful just looks like its chopped off.
The rear tail lights are an odd shape.
 
Your right on TrainerKen, The x6 is badass. I was a bimmer guy for like 15 years but just gavem up for the FX. No real complaints about Bimmers they're engineered well and easy to work on plus they rail. I got a great deal on the FX due to the current petrol state and you can't beat the FX's design, exhaust note and handling, but i'm not a big fan of the redesigned FX. it appears awkward and unrefined. that was actually the deal clincher for me, once i saw how weird they looked on knew i'd be happy with my older generation FX until the next redesign. I test drove it about a month and 1/2 ago and I thought it was bada$$ .. last night, I saw one behind me so I pulled to the slower lane to catch a look while its rolling but he wouldnt pass me. Maybe he thought I was gonna race him.
