I am new to the board and I am about 5 days away form receiving my 2010 Umbria Twilight black on piano nav tech and was wondering if there is either a post or somewhere on the net that will show me what other tire and rim combinations can be applied to this vehicle..Take the guess work out of deciding on new wheels packages.

well, the more research you do & the more you look at, the more choices you'll have, there is no one place that is going to have everything you can choose from, choices are vast & wide.

what are you looking for? high quality expensive wheels or cheaper wheels or ? what size wheels do you have in mind?

I am looking for examples of changes made to 09 or 10 vehicles that have biggerrims and tires where the new combination leaves no glitch in electronics or mph

You will have to do the leg work yourself as to the combination of wheels and tires that will fit your 09 fx but we do have a wheel and tire calculator under the "Members" section and iS tools that will help you to see what combination will fit and which won't.

go to my site at www.diablousa.com and click on wheels and on the bottom of the pic you will see link "view on my vehicle" and you can view the diablo and gianna wheels on your vehicle and color any combination if you have any questions pm me

if all 4 are the same overall diameter as each other, there can be no glitch in the electronics, & if the same overall diameter is maintained as the stock wheel assembly there will be no change in mph... this doesn't narrow down all that much & this applies to all fx's from 03-10, there is nothing different about the 09-10's that wouldn't also apply to any earlier fx too. there are still many possible setups that would fit that criteria...

if you go with what's recommended by a retailer like tirerack or something, you will stay within safe perameters, but maybe not have as agressive a setup as possible really. are you going to lower? you say bigger, are you looking for 22's or larger? are you looking for off the shelf wheels or multi piece higher end wheels? look around there is tons of wheel information here, maybe you won't see too many examples of 09-10's, but anything you see here from any 03 & up fx pretty much applies to the 09-10's the same really, there is no significant difference other than the factory centered the wheels ~10mm difference in offset, otherwise the 09-10's are the same as the earlier ones in respect to wheels...

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new FX.

I was in the same boat as you, I decided on some Enkei 20" wheels. I am picking themup in Mississauga today.
I got them at http://www.tires23.com/ . They can get most wheels.
