Ceramic Pro detail review

I just got the Ceramic pro 9h permanent protection Gold package done to my car and all I got to say is WOW, worth the money hands down especially on darker colors. The process first involves full paint correction and then the application of Ceramic pro. I had 5 coats done on all the exterior surfaces including the Windows and plastic trim. 1 coat of Ceramic Pro strong which is equal to 10 coats of Ceramic Pro 9h on the wheels. Took 3 days to do and 72 hours for it to cure. There are 4 packages available depending on the shop you use which include the Bronze package, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The gold and platinum have a lifetime warranty which is why I chose the gold. The platinum package adds a few more coats of 9h and also Includes the interior as well. I choose the gold due to the price point and because my interior is perfect and I didn't need the interior done. Each of these packages varies according to the detail shop you use. Prices roughly start at $600 and up. The gold package I choose was $1100 but was worth the money and I HIGHLY recommend it. Ceramic pro is hydrophobic and it also withstands stone chips and light scratches. With the lifetime warranty the only thing that needs to be done is to go in once a year and have their $100 ceramic pro sport detail done and that's it. Very happy with the results. Here are some iPhone pics and videos I made which don't do it justice. In the videos and pics I only washed it down with water without wiping. The mirror finish is just amazing and you have to see it in person to truly appreciate it. Sorry for the bad video quality.

In this video I just threw water on the FX to show how water just glides of the surface. It's just amazing, the video doesn't do justice.

In this video I will show you the anti scratch properties of ceramic pro. I would NEVER EVER do this to my car but with ceramic pro I didn't hesitate one bit to show you guys how this stuff is the REAL DEAL.

Next up is a few pictures just with water and not dried with a microfiber towel. This pics show you how awesome this stuff is even without drying. The mirror shine is ridiculously dope. Like I said pics definitely don't do justice.

Ok, stop wasting water and take out that rust screw driver for a real test Rip. All seriousness, it looks good. Love how the water just roll off. :good:

For a while I've been considering doing the treatment on my vehicles. Great stuff RIP, definitely going to do it now.

Oh man I gotta pee so bad after watching that first video.
Looks great Rip, shines just like Zaino

Seriously, It does look wicked, nice job.

Haha Zaino is awesome stuff but ceramic pro is 10 times better due the fact that I never have to wax/polish my car again for life and the shine is super wet better than Zaino for sure. The people that are living in harsh snowy environments I would def recommend this too as well.

Sounds great Rip. I think I will have to check out my area for a place that does this particular process.

What's the process like? Does it go on like a wax? You know Handy Andy is going to try and do this in his garage himself. ;)

The first step is paint correction then they apply the permanent coats of Ceramic pro 9h which takes 72 hours to cure. Total time to get the job done was 3 days. It's a permanent protection with lifetime warranty and won't wash away or break down over time like waxes and sealants. HIGHLY recommended it.

I just sent off an email to the Ontario distributor of Ceramic Pro to find the location of the closest shop near me. Got to check it out.

I received a reply from ceramic pro already. The closest shop is about 3 hours from me.
For anyone in the GTA , here is the shops website http://www.detailpros.ca and here is the address: 95 Kennedy road south, Brampton, ontario

Sometime when I am near that area I will check it out.

Probably best to do this when you buy a car new or near new. Why pay for the 3M option if seems like this may be better especially if the costs or almost the same.

Very true, and I think this would benifit darker coloured cars more than light coloured cars. I still like the added protection of a clear bra for cars that do extended road trips.

It won't matter if new or old, just as long as the car is not in shitty condition. This is why they do a full paint correction first then apply the ceramic pro. Wayne is right, on darker colored cars it's def worth it but either way I recommend it for any car.
