Center Console

In the 2006 down-loadable service manual I cannot seem to find anything on removal of the center console and or removing the ashtray assembly.
I have installed my Valentine V1 Radar detector in the car and I use the concealed display in the cigarette lighter mount. I would love to run the wires in from behind the ash tray. I have not tried to take anything apart yet but thought I would look in the service manual first.

the aluminum trim has clips holding it in the first is about an inch down from the size, and you can pull it off basically, try not to break any clips

he has a 06 ,maybe slightly different than ours.... but I pointed him to look in right direction.
