Center Console creaking

Everytime I hit a bump or make sharp turns the center wood console in my 2009 FX35 creaks. It's the console where the cup holders and shifter is at. It rather quite annoying. If I push on it I can replicate the creacking noise easily. I don't feel like going to the dealer cause I live to far from one. Any ideas on how to stop the sound or has anyone had this sound on their 2009 FX35? Thanks!!

You can carefully remove the center console and try and locate where the creaking is coming from and just add a dab of wd40.

I have no idea how to remove it. It looks very delicate and I'm a noob when it comes to interior things. I was hoping there would be something I could stick in between the console to get it to stop.

I had that problem. Just bang it with your fist, it goes away. I know it sounds stupid but it works

I'd rather not bang it with my fist lol. I followed a guide I found on infinitifx.org. I took apart my wood console and used some felt in between the cooled seat switches panel. That the cause of all of the creaking. Now my FX is perfect. No creaking or rattling whats so everrrrrrrrr!

Mine creaks up by the windshield. Not in the center console. But only occasionally.

There is a TSB for that windshield creaking or cracking noise. You should take it to the dealer.

Do you know the Number by chance of the TSB? My dealer tends to ask for it.
