Cel after cai install....

I just installed a JWT pop charger and now my check engine light comes on and the code is for bank 2 sensor running lean. I was thinking maybe my ECU is still in the process of learning the new pop charger..? :bulgy-eyes:

did you turn on your car at somepoint when maf was disconnected? i would do a reset or clear the cel code and see if it comes back

No, I didn't turn it on until I was done. Yeah, I'll just reset it and see if it pops back on.

Update: check engine light went off about 30 minutes into my next to drive. Not sure what caused it to pop on but hopefully it will stay off now.:good:

was likely just learning the new intake forcing more air into the mix aka making you run lean, so the CEL was accurate - the computer just hadn't made the fuel adjustments yet to compensate. Shouldn't come back up.

That's exactly what I was thinking when it popped on. My next upgrade will be a +2 timing here in a few days. Hope I can tell a difference.
