Cd player not working, ejecting, or loading, PLEASE HELP

hi everyone, I have bad luck guys, I just bought my 20" wheels with some money i was saving and now this happens. I just started the FX to go to the store and the CD player was making this noise like when it is going to play the next cd, but it won't play, eject, or load my cds. I have 6 cds in there and the screen shows that there are only 4. When I press eject it makes a non stop noise and sometimes there is no noise at all,.....even when I turn off the car I feel the noise like if it were skipping cds. I did a search and found something about pulling out the center console and everything is connected so what should I do now. Does it mean that the cd player broke and I have to buy another one? Is it easy to install? I have no warranty so I suppose the dealer is going to kill me with the bill uh?.........I tried to search it at infinipartsUSA, but I don't know if thats the only think I would need to fix it. Does anybody know the cost to repair this?

i think this is an issue with the fx, mine broke last year, but didnt bother to fix it just use my ipod, i believe the price i got for a new unit was $400 & $100 for the installation
 
i'm on my 3rd cd changer/etc. mine was doing this. it actually reset and worked after not responding to anything for a few hours - i let it sit.

if you do need to buy another unit, which eventually you probably will if not right now, it is not difficult to install if you have a little bit of mechanical ability. shouldn't even take you an hour start to finish..... not worth the $100 imo.
 
Guys I need your help more than ever...................
2 weeks ago when I posted this thread my cd player stopped working,.....today,....when I plugged my cell phone to my USB port something weird happend. The radio, Sat, Tape, Volume, presets,Bass(threble/balance/fad)....in fact ....all the audio buttons stoped working. The display, Maint, FuelEcon, E/C, settings and A/C controls are working just fine. In fact, all the buttons related to the audio system dont work. would I have to buy something else besides the CD/Tape player?( I tried to communicate with Joe at InfinitiPartsUSA but he haven't reply my messages.
Where is the Fuse located? I already checked the radio fuse( 15A) at front by the battery and looks fine. I just wanted to know if there are more somewhere else in the car. BTW the only power plug working is the one at the back of the center console. The cigarrete lighter and the one inside the center console are not working either.

I've been having problems with my cd's skipping. I bought an eye cleaner kit and that worked partially, but it started back again. Not sure what the hell is going on, but I just got my ipod and will be using that instead.
 
Mine stopped working recently too. Infiniti said the warranty is only covered under the extended warranty for the cd player. I can still change and play cds, but cannot load nor eject. I'm gonna ignore it and get an ipod kit or something.
 
cool bro. I also didn't forget those pictures for you, just gotta get to the roofrack in storage, there packed away & bubble wrapped. my backs been out all week, I should be able to get pictures monday for you
