4th time my CD Changer is not ejecting CDs and I am tired of the $500 fee. I tried disconnecting the battery. I reviewed the repair manual on how to remove the Audio unit. I can send the unit for repair for ~$180. It is not clear on whether the AC/Heat/Info center will work if I remove the audio unit. 2006 FX35... any tips, experiences, advise is appreciated.

Probably jammed, better to consider an iPod/iPhone adapter.
