CB Radio in the FX?

I searched the forum quickly and didn't find any posts about installing a CB radio in the car. I suppose having that huge ugly antenna on our SUV's would be a turn off but I was wondering if anyone did install one and possibly found a cleaver way to mount the antenna. We have them in our ambulances and they are great to use. Especially with three or four trucks driving together.

I'm trying to figure a way to wire up a 2m Ham Radio inside the FX. The leads need to go straight to the battery because it will be pulling around 10 amps during transmit. Has anyone found a way to route the wires through the firewall?

You can get a wire into the cabin from the battery from directly behind the battery itself.

Cut a slit into the rubber boot to feed the wire through. Be sure to seal the cut with some silicone to prevent water enter the passenger compartment.
