Catalytic converter options

Unfortunately during our long search for an IS350 - the FX35 decides to start playing a nice rattling tune via the passenger side cat. Stethoscoped it and nailed it down to an internal cat rattle. Checked all related parts/shields.
Pulled the cat a few hours ago - now looking for a replacement. Discountinfinitiparts.com is showing $496.00 with the core exchange.
Anyone have any other ideas/options on a cheaper scale? We are litteraly selling the thing as soon as we find an IS.
I've read the cat replacement thread here:
https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=14074-Bad-Catalytic-Converters
But have yet to find the answer if HFC cats work with AWD FX35's - and if any modifications need to be done in order to make them work with a stock system. I can weld/fab mounts if need be - but would rather not so the next owner doesn't end up with a modified system.
Thanks ~

Buy one used. They seem to sell fast on my350z so gotta check often. G35driver would be another good spot to check. Most HFC's should fit the AWD, just don't get anything with something coming off the side of it. Basically if it looks like OEM then it will fit.

If you're trying to sell it, just find used OEM. As Stu said, they pop up on my350z a lot, I think there is a set on there now. HFC's will raise the noise level so that may not be good if you're looking to sell.

I found 3 OEM cats on the first page of exhaust in the marketplace, but they had all sold, and fast it seemed. Each had only 2-3 replies.

Thanks guys. I checked 350z.com and G35driver - looks like the cats sell pretty quick, with a few WTB threads as well.
Since everything is already torn apart, I just ordered from infinitpartsonline.com. Thanks for the recommendations.
