Cargo Cover?

I don't think so. There were other who had fitment problems with trying to mix and match cargo covers with different model years. But I forgot which exact years these pertained to. It would be best to wait and get one that comes from the same model year as your FX.
 
I don't think so. I believe Rookie had that problem when he switched his interior.

2006 FX45 = Standard Tonneau trunk cover

I always thought that there are only 2 different designs, 03-04, then 05 up till the 08's which is the one shown in this auction. it should fit your 06 as far as I know but I think i've seen some guys mention they need to buy an extra bracket or something if it didn't come with the tonneau

I have an 08 cover in my 03, I had to swap out the side panels though but I think this should go right in yours... I think, pretty sure anyway :)
 
Yea, John is right it was the same from 03-04 and then 05-08. From my recollection now someone had tried to fit a 03-04 version cover on their 05 or 06 FX and it didn't work. But as turbo said you can replace the brackets but I believe to replace the brackets you actually have to replace the inner side panel that the brackets are attached to. Can you confirm this John?
 
yeah, I had to change the whole inner side panels, but strangely I don't remember having any bracket issues, just went right in & worked, but I got everything I needed from the 08, gotta look at it again...
 
from the way the looks of that item I'm almost positive that it will fit. I have the same cover on my 07 and I just had to buy the brackets to hold the cover down to the side panels, cost me $12 from the dealer.

Since the poster said it was from 05 FX, I figured it would fit my 06. I was watching this item and I bid couple of minutes ago not realizing that he posted an additional information regarding the cover not fitting his 06 which is the model I have.

I know that there are two models: 1 for 03 to 04 and 05+
Talk about misleading potential buyers...

Can I dispute this with ebay? This is fucked up. Even if I win... I won't pay and it will mess up my rating... I hope someone else snatches this up instead of me so that I don't have to deal with problems.
 
i have a 2005 cargo cover for my 2006, u should be fine. u'll need a pair of adaptors too.

I know that already.

The guy is selling a 03 to 04 according to the statement he included on his item. He stated that it doesn't fit his 06 which leads me to believe that he is selling the one for 03 to 04 models instead of the 05+ model.

The item is totally misleading.
 
if show that much interest, what I suggest is to ask the seller if those are actual pics. it might be that the seller is not too knowledgeable. just my 2cents.
