Looking for info on how to remove cargo area trim pieces to access main wiring harnesses for rear lights to install trailer wiring on a 2015 QX 70. Thanks

just did this yesterday to dynamat the cargo area, the cargo hatch is obvious so get that out of the way. the piece at the door opening that has the latch for the locking mech is held in by 7 of those plastic push in rivits, it should just pop right off. the 2 pieces at the bottom of the back seats that move when you put the seats the same, 2 on the small one 3 on the big one and should just pop right off, there are 2 screws, one each under those hooks that the net mounts 2 if you have the net, pick the hook up and then pry on the end of the plastic hump that still in there to uncover the screw, then there are 3 more 10mm or 12mm can remember bolts that you should be able to see, one of them is sort of under this little plastic box that has a wires going to it, that one is kinda in the center all the way up buy the seats. the right half will come out first than the left half.

sorry, wish i took pics but i didnt

Thanks, will take a look at mine and give it a go altho the pieces I need to remove would be at the very back at the rear cargo door to access the wiring. Will let you know.

you talking the door itself? the wheel well or the floor? if its the floor its in 2 pieces, left and right, that little carpeted area on the left and right is actually attached to the entire frame surrounding the spare tire. hopefully this will helpScreen Shot 2017-05-31 at 7.35.15 PM.png

Fantastic, that diagram shows perfectly what needs to be removed. Hopefully the pieces I need to remove will just pop off with a little pressure and not break any mounting tabs which are no doubt plastic. I have those plastic removal tools used for interior trim removal. Will let you know how it turns out. Thanks.

And it is the floor area right at the back and perhaps that back metal piece on the floor plus likely the carpeted parts on the sides at the very rear. Just need access to the rear light wiring harness plug in to the rear lights.

To get to the right spots all of the cargo panels had to be removed but trying to determine where to pry and unbolt was a daunting task. Very fortunate for me a friend owns a body shop and he removed them all without breaking even the plastic fasteners. Not really a job for the faint of heart when pilling and prying on all those plastic pieces. Thanks for your help.
