So today I decided to replace the spark plugs not that I have gotten to 100K+ miles. Noticed oil in the 6 and 5 cylinders. A good bit I might add. However, I continued with my replacement per the DIY provided on the site. Made sure all was properly and securly replaced. No extra bolts laying around the garage.

Now, went to start it up and it started and died immediatly. The only way to keep it started is for me to give it gas as soon as I start it.

Anyone can give some trouble shooting suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.

hows your battery u can also try reseting the computer i'm not sure how on the fx may be someone else will chime in

wayne, the battery is good. I didn't have this problem prior to the spark plug change. wondering if there was something I did. I will research the computer reset. thanks.

Did you remove your intake?

I did, but only enough to access the plugs as the diy suggest. I made sure everything was replaced though.

all so make sure all the coils is push down onto the spark plugs good luck . i just change my plugs and had no problems with start/running

Check for an open or cracked vacuum line. Did you accidently disturb any vacuum lines while changing the plugs? Sounds like the intake is sucking air from somewhere other than the plenum. Good Luck

Thanks 2ht..I will give the v-lines a look over today as well. I am going to disassemble everything again and make sure I didn't do anything incorrectly.
