Car Seat Protection

We just picked up our new FX last night. :smile (2):

We have a little munchkin on the way and I would love to hear some suggestions for protecting the back seat from the Car Seat.

Thanks!

I have twins and we find the back a little small for our huge Evenflo car seats. That being said, we use an old (but perfect condition) acrylic blanket folded about 4 times to put under the seats and go across the entire back seat. Never had a problem, but I'm always having to vacuum up raisins, animal crackers, and fruit snacks (gummies).

I recommend getting some good tight sealing sippie cups for later, and enjoy having the back of the seats kicked once you turn the seat front facing.

Also, remember the latch hooks are little cut out pockets on the lower part of the back of the seat. My dealer didn't know where they were.

Perfect...thanks!

Yeah it was actually a little difficult to find the child latches. Having the perforated leather, I know I have to put something down.

I picked up a blanket and a back of the seat protector from Amazon.

Babies R Us sells a full height seat protector for child seats. I saw them last time I was there but got distracted and forgot to gab them. I'm going to get a couple today assuming they're open... I'll post pics if I make it over there.

I have always had this car seat protector under our car seat and it has served its purpose well IMO. I don't use the top portion because the carseat doesn't even touch it.

A little while back I had to move the carseat from the driver's side to the passenger side so I snapped these photos for another forum member to show what the seat looked like after about a year.

...

That's the one I was talking about. I just picked up the tan version (they come in black, grey, and tan) this afternoon. I especially like how three edges are raised like a tray, so it can catch a pretty large amount of liquid.
