Sigh, i parked my car at target today came back home and noticed a scratch as long as the door. It doesnt look to bad, the clear coat looks scratched up and maybe a little bit of paint. Ive tried to use some products but i cant get them out. You guys think infiniti will help me out and buff it for me or if i pay for detailing they will get it out?

Your probably better off going to a detail shop Infiniti might charge you twice the price if they do it

post up a pic of how it looks right now & tell us...does your fingernail get cought(stuck) in the scratch when you try to feel it? what color is your car? on a darker colored car (black epecially) the deeper the clear coat scratch, the more white the scratch will be. a lighter scratch bc its on the surface of the clear coat will not be that noticable but a deeper clear coat scatch will look more bright white the deeper it goes.

understand or are ya lost?:nerd (2):

Depending on the depth of the scratch a reputable auto collision shop can do a great job with some compound and make your car look like it was never scratched. :wink (2):

Don't use a cheesy cheapo detailer on a decent scratch. I'll will be more likely to come back and then you'll just go back to a good detailer and pay for it twice.

That would make a good case for a hit and run.
Depending on how bad it looks one option is to report it to your insurance company, pay the deductible and get the whole side re-painted.
