car damage

Hi,

A car hit my 2011 Ex35 while that car was going backwards. There are some damages on the fender and driver door.

I do not want this incident to affect the resale value of my car. Do you recommend replacing the fender and door or fixing them? The insurance of the other car will pay for it so the cost is not important.

Thanks!

hope you're ok first of all. since it involved the other person's insurer then it'll eventually show up on carfax and will count a little against resale value. document the damage and repair well and save it for when you're selling/trading the vehicle. best thing to do now is to wait for their adjuster to give you an estimate. then take it to a shop of your choice and see if they can work with it. if it's more than the est then they'll do an adjustment.
