Can you chip the 2011 g25?

These chips don't really ever work. It's an old trick used to fool people desperate for performance gains. Mostly they are a resistor that messes with the Air/fuel ratio without actually doing anything.
The only way to really squeeze performance out of these cars are some bolt ons and actual ECU tuning - but even then you can only get so much. The best option is to get "real" modifications like forced induction, turbos, etc.
However Im sure the market is extremely limited for the G25's 2.5L v6.
This wasn't a stupid question, but has an answer that can be easily found by a quick search.

Thanks for your reply! I heard reflashing your ECU works for infinitis instead of using a performance chip, or adding a piggyback box. Do you know if this works and does it avoid warranty?

^reflashing the ECU will "help" see better performance, but will not necessarily add actual power, etc. Sort of "wakes up" the ECU. Technically messing with anything will only void the warranty IF a future problem is directly caused by the modification you made.
However, you have a g25. Even with a few bolt-ons, etc. plus a flash. Idk how much gain you're really going to see. I've gone through this with two infinities already - the first I ended up spending so much money nickel-and-diming every bolt-on that I could have just gotten a turbo slapped on. The new car, there really is nothing for it and the only way to see more power is serious mods like a turbo, etc.
Most likely you'll end up doing the same bolt-ons everybody does then gets upset that they only gained like 15hp max. (not enough to feel imo) On my old fx35 I ended up making like 235awhp on the dyne, compared to a stock 215(ish)… after spending THOUSANDS on bolt-ons, etc. I mean I could have gotten an entire, tuned turbo set up for the same money.
If your plan is to really make some power, save up and do the mods that are worth while. Little bolt ons here and there will not actually do much - it may change the sound a bit or make a whirring noise at the intake, but won't add much power.

No question is a stupid question if you really do not know the answer already, atleast that is what I tell my son. The G25 engine is more popular among owners that are concerned more about fuel economy than raw performance, so the aftermarket tuning parts and computer modding will be close to nil. However you would do better by upgrading to an G37 than wasting money on mods that will not give much of a performance gain. It seems like you want to be driving an G37 instead of the G25. I would just drive the G25 as is and upgrade to an G37 when you are able. But to answer your question, yes, if you able to find one that will be compatible with the G25.
