of the noise in my car. Sounds like a tee shirt or flag tied on the mirror and flapping against the door. Only occurs when driving 65 plus mph and comes and goes. Can drive 80 for 20 minutes and all quiet, then suddenly there it is again. I have checked the mirror, (folded it in) the trim around the windshield (put electrical tape over it), looked under the car...exhaust- lines- brackets- foreign material stuck (all tight), went through the wheel well, all tight- adjusted the rubber bumpers under the hood so it fits tight, still get the noise.

ANY suggestions will be appreciated, hoping it’s something common like when the plastic fasteners came out of the rear bumper cover and it was rattling against the frame.

Thanks a Folks,

MC

Have Michelin’s with 10k on them, they look new and are very quiet. I’ll get the dealer to look it over at next service. Thanks Pinstripe.

Michelin is a fantastic brand and I'd be surprised if it turned out to be the tires. You've got it narrowed down to 65+ mph, so it's something that's drag related. Could be the windshield wipers or perhaps the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield. It could be the engine splash guard. I had a similar sounding noise from the top center section of the windshield weather strip after having my windshield replaced.

Check door rubber gaskets... also it could be the underbody plastic covers, the wheel plastic inner fenders or towards the rear bumper where the noise may sound at the doors but it may be happening somewhere else.
