my '03 fx45 doesn't have the backup camera, what is the best option for me far as getting one added. or should I go aftermarket, and which one would be the best. and if I get an aftermarket would my indash factory monitor work with it!

the only advice I can gve is that the aftermarket camera will not work with your orange screen if you have one, my best advice is to get either a double din indash to replace your screen then relocate or get a single din remove the clock and hook up your back up cam there.

I have another question: can it be possible to get the monitor set up from a wrecked Fx, and then switch the radio and monitor into mine. or is this to much of a hassel

I'm sure it a lot more than just swtiching the radio and monitor.....remember the Back up Camera comes with tech package which includes a lot more things. Many have asked about this and no one has done it, as Im sure its just too much trouble in the end.

I got an aftermarket savv rear view mirror with monitor built in. it just clips over your existing mirror. only drawback is that you can't access the homelink buttons or see the compass. I have it installed to a switch and can turn it on whenever I want. that's about the best option in my opinion.
