how low can i go before i need a camber kit? and are there any adjusments on the stock suspension for me to correct camber after lowering?

I think you'll need camber kits only if you cut your after market springs to go even lower. You won't need kits for both H&R and Eibach.

Are you planning to cut your after market springs?

From what I remember.... don't you need the rear camber kit to get COMPLETELY within spec on Eibachs?

I know you can get EXTREMELY close on rear camber, to where it's just about within tolerance so it's negligible and every other aspect (toe / front camber+toe) are fine even when dropped.

As said previously, Eibach and H&R lowering springs do not require toe/camber kits, but a fresh alignment is highly recommended after installing.

From my recollection some members did have to have a camber kit when lowered because it was still out of spec after alignment. I know I do but I am waiting to replace my rear tires before installing the camber kit.

im getting my h&rs installed friday, however he said i might need to get a camber kit? the guy is charging me $360 for the install inc alignment, what if i go with out the camber kit, will anything happen? and hes doing the alignment right after the install? should i wait a few weeks till the springs settle ? srry to jack the thread

My rear was off by barely out of factory specification (maybe 0.1 degree) after 2 months. I chose not to use camber kits since it was barely off and I had a really bad experience with camber kit in the past. I lost my previous car due to camber kit failing on me... basically the after market camber arm snapped off resulting in my car spinning out on the freeway. I rather rely on factory parts and live with small negative camber that is out of spec than go through that crap again. That's just me tho...

after dropping u should get it aligned, if they cant get really close to the stock alignment, then go with the camber kit? jus how i would do it.

Whats up guys. I'm currently ordering bc coil overs. I want more negative camber. I got 1.5 in the rear. Now if I get the coil overs will I be able to get more. Or will I have to get custom arms made. Also what do you guys think of bc coil overs. Thanks in advance

I have a second gen fx and and no matter how much you drop it, the rear camber will be off even after alignment, the front come pretty close to spec but it is the rears that are the problem

I don't want to be in spec. I basically want more negative camber. What do I have to do. I'm already 1.5 negative. I want more at least 2 or 2.5. Will i have to get the arms custom made. Any advice. Thanks

Just elongate horizontally the strut mounting holes in the front and the subframe hole where the lower link arm and the spring cup mounted to.
