Cam sensor O ring

Well i am happy to annouce i think i fixed my burning oil smell by replacing the cam sensor o ring. I noticed there was oil around the passenger sensor and the exhaust manifold is right below it and there was residue on the manifold. Stopped by nissan and picked up both for $13, lil expensive but i didnt want to have to redo it.
My o ring was still attached but flat. When i put the new one on it did mushroom out a bit, so i think thats the difference.
One question i have is, how the hell do you get the cam sensor plug off? I tried what people say " you have to push the slide down and it pops off. No flippn way. I pushed pulled and did everything possible. Any advice for my driver side one? Those electrical plugs suck!

Anyone know how to get the connectors off? Its not a push and pop...

It is a push & pop. You just have to push on the middle tab (i believe its green) alil harder while pulling on the housing with the other hand. On the older fx'es it gets alil dust & dirt inside it making it harder to get it to go all the way in. The o-ring actually hardens & turns into plastic,shrinks & cracks over the years so it was deffinitely leaking. Good job! & best of luck with the plug!
