I hope this helps- my father in law owns a body repair shop. He works on every make. Some cars are built real well - other aren't We happen to fall into the better built vehicles. A 2007 g35x sedan was brought to the shop - the nose was " run over" by a truck. $14 g damage didn't total it. The repair went better than expected - no structure damage beyond the radiator support. I would not be concerned about the accident- more than likely more cosmetic than anything mechanical. Hope this helps
