V6 Killer... ha ha ha ha

Had allot of fun with Will. We had a great guys night out on Friday at Hooters and doing a little shopping at the Ontario Mills Mall.

The Marriot is way better to stay in than the Ayres Suites we have stayed at early in the Year.

As for the Track, conditions were favorable for all of us. There were not that many people that showed up and we were the firt ones to register and set up.

To be honest with all of you, I did not really gun it as much as I would of liked. My baby is still handicaped because of the last incident that I had with her on the road. I still have have a need to replace the 2 front engine mounts and I was scared that if I pushed her too hard off the line I would of broken something.:cool::err:

All that being said, I had sooooooooooooooooooo much fun in getting a large V8 Killer Monkey:tongue: off my back after 7 months..:angel::xd::top:.

Fred and Allen were good sports and did pretty good for being out there for the first time...:nerd: I imagine that next time they will get better...:wink:

Here are my time slips... (7539) (Running on '22's and a FULL TANK of GAS... ha ha)
 
I was running on 22's, 1/2 tank gas, with spare, speakers, and trunk cover out. I think the rest of my specs are there already.

I have noticed that my battery is not charging correctly so it seemed a little sluggish.

On my 3rd run, I had to backup to stage myself, and when I went forward, I did not put it manual, when I got to 7K RPM, I pushed it into neutral instead.
 
Blueslate is there now and says no rain and not crowded. I'm actually awake so I'm heading out. Missed yesterday due to being a snoozer. lol
 
The rookie curse continues. Only 2 groups today, group 1 ran group 2 called up. Almost to the line and it starts sprinkling.

Hopefully its just delayed.....cuz its nice blue skies here in 626 area.

nope . . I had spoken to Gil earlier too, cuz he's my match. Not sure if he went, but It rained so hard on us last nite, that I opted out.
 
It ended up being an ok day today. The delay wasn't too bad. I didn't do very well launching today, first 60' was the best at 2.1 the rest were 2.2 and higher.

Boo. 13.05 111 was the best I could muster up.
