Newbie Questions:

1) How much should be in your tank? about 1/2? 1/4?
2) Do you guys bring the spare, then take it out and leave it on the p.lot when u race? or leave all the trunk stuff at home?
3) Do you put it in manual and shift? or Auto and gun it?
4) What RPM is ideal launch? AWD? RWD?

hmm I'll think of more newb questions before this day...:embarrassed:

Less gas less weight, 1 gallon of gas weighs around 6 pounds. 1/4 tank would be best.

Most race with everything in the car, but I would leave it home if you don't need it.

3) Do you put it in manual and shift? or Auto and gun it?
I use manumatic.

4) What RPM is ideal launch? AWD? RWD?
Not sure about everybody else..but with my AWD, I just gun it.

1. I usually try to get it down to 1/4 tank if possible.
2. I leave everything in my car....as I want real world times. Just personal preference
3. You can try both ways....but I find I get better times in manual
4. I dont really pay attention to the RPMS, I just go by feel only cuz once you pre stage and then stage you gotta pay attn to the christmas tree.
