Bump Steer Kit

Trying to eliminate bump steering problems with my 09 FX on BC Coilovers. It's only dropped a couple of inches or so, does anyone know if a 370 kit V36 will work on the 2nd Gens? Or is there an FX kit that works?

Thanks

What is Bump Steer you ask:
"Bump-Steer is the concept of bumps or imperfections in the road causing a car to steer off-track on its own, without driver input. This is described by many Subaru drivers as needing constant direction correction when steering over a bump. This annoying and sometimes even dangerous effect is the result of poor suspension geometry when a vehicle is lowered below factory specs"

I don't think that fits since none of the 370Z or G37 camber arms will work on the FX. The suspension design is slightly different. But that bar just basically allows them to bring toe into spec. When toe is out of spec, the car will tend to wander and "bump steer". How are your alignment specs?

GT spec braces will help some. It basically just keeps the chassis from flexing which should help the car track better. I have a 1st gen and it does bump steer some; mine is very low. As low as BC's go and then some. I never measured height, but I'm running a smaller diameter tire and the wheel wells are even with tire, so I'd tuck normal size tires. I have Stillen STB, GT Spec rear lower lateral, and GT Spec engine brace. It all did make a difference, but the bump steer will never go away entirely. It's there stock, lowering just makes it worse.

Doesn't bother me that much, it still handles better than with stock setup which is really under damped in the rear. I hated that twisty bouncy feeling I got from hitting bumps while cornering when the car would rebound quickly and feel like it was twisting. I run higher rate BC springs 12/14 and have damping set somewhere in the middle. It's a firm ride, but mostly controlled and doesn't feel like it's pitching everywhere like it did stock. I do have to pay much more attention in rough corners because of bump steer, but reality is that it's an SUV. The steering wheel does kick back a lot more than my other car.
