Bulb replacement

Hello,


Im looking to switch out the 4300k factory hid Bulbs for something alil more blue like 6000k or 8000k. My question is do I need to get a bulb that is Bixenon? meaning have the ability for low and high beams? I never had stock HIDs before only aftermarket and I know the aftermarket HID kits require a bixenon kit for the purpose of high beams and low beams. If I just order replacement bulbs will I lose my high beams? Thanks for the help.
 
Also you won't lose your high beams, because in the projector there is a shield (not sure of the name) that blocks light when up(low beam), and when you flick your high beams the shield moves out of the light path(high beams).
