Buick Enclave

Overall shape not bad- BTW: that's a base model in the photos. Fully loaded it's not bad. However, it's fairly large, front wheel drive based - with a 275hp V6. I test drove one for the hell of it-can't say I hated it. I have no doubt it going to appeal to a lot of folks. IMHO the best out the GM triplets that share the platform. It's not an FX-theres no sport in that formula.

The Generals 5.3V8 or even the new 306hp 3.6 V6 would have been better engine choices IMHO. Still think they should have made it rear wheel drive though.

I'm from the org too. This is a hot spot:cool:

Hey Das glad to see that you made it over here.

DAS glad you can make over here on the Scene

Also, good choice in the small car bracket, "06 Mini Cooper S (R53)
Pure Silver/blk-roof/Spt/Prem.", I am thinking of getting this car as my daily driver....

gas prices are killing me. I am getting about 15.5 MPG on a good day...

The only American made cars I would buy is the Z06, Hummer H1/H2, and a 3/4 ton 4x4 turbo diesel trucks (if I needed one for the towing and load). With that said I'm really not feeling this Buick.

American cars that I like (or looking forward to)...

the next gen.Caddy CTS-V,

The new camaros are okay but IMO the offerings on them shouldn't stray too far from what Ford is offering on their Mustangs. For the $$$ I would rather drive a regular vette. I do have to say though, giving credit where credit is due, that US automakers have stepped it up recently. I am really impressed by the performance of the new SRT8 Jeeps and 300Ms, and the SS Trailblazers.

True they have taken a step forward in the engine/power dept. but they still are way behind in the interior styling side of things. Not to mention quality control :err:.

One thing that I can't stand and is a major turn off for me is GM's interior and dash design. You can generally tell if it's a GM product by the large round candy like buttons on the console and dash. Even the Z06 is not immuned to this. Can we please have a little refinement and integration?

Thanks the Mini is a fun solid vehicle for its size.
