Buffing scratches out of plastic

Just put some used weathertech window visors on and I gotta say, they are pretty scuffed up.

Wondering if there was a way to buff the scratches out - or at least minimize their appearance. Rotary tool? Rubbing compound? Plastic polish?

I gave them a light coat & rub of plastx but it really didn't do all that much.

plastic is similar to clearcoat on a car, just a bit softer... it can actually be wetsanded & polished... if your scratches are deep enough then that may be the only hope & realistically if done right it can def make the surface brand new again... however doing it wrong can make it even worse too... without the right stuff to progressively wetsand & polish it then your best option may be a bit less aggressive stuff like plastic polish which can def help but may not be aggressive enough if the micro scratches are a bit deep... if you have a soft rotary tool you can try that with some plastic polish as the compound too... just keep rubbing & rubbing, make take a while as the polish alone is not too aggressive but should be safe enough to at least not hurt it more...
