Wrapped and Bagged
Accuair... now that's wassup bro, can't wait to see the final outcome. Going to sit dope

Thanks all.

Nice! Are you going to switch the wheels later?

Yeah, GTR's are going to be for sale in about a month. I'll go back to my winter setup (oem 18's) once I get the suspension installed, then I am already talking with a wheel company about measuring up my car for some custom wheels.

I need to wait to get the suspension all done, so we can take really accurate measurements cause the fitment is going to be ridiculously aggressive, and I want it to be perfect.

My hopes are to go 22x10 up front, and 22x12 out back. Cram some 335 wide tires under the rear...:eek.:

Sounds cool. 10's up front are easy. 12's in back are easy, but if you want to go ridiculously aggressive, you're going to have to get rid of the hump under the door in the fender. I'd think you'd have to have it cut out and welded back flat. I had a body shop try to hammer it flat and that bump won't roll or hammer flat. With aggressive offsets, you'll rub right there even if the rest of the quarter is rolled flat. If you just want to hard park on air, it won't matter. But if you want to drive low, that bump has to go or else it will rub non stop. The FX is really reinforced under there so the fender roller only does so much, you can't pull it like on other cars.

Wow 12 in the back, that's going to look killer. What company wheel you going with?

Gonna keep that quiet for now, as I am still discussing with them to finalize details.

Yeah we had a look and clearance to drive while tucking tire is really limited. I am going to wait until everything is up and running, and then I can work on dialing it in. The front tires might need new liners as well, as I want to avoid that lifted front minitruck look while driving low.

Shit looks killer man

Now if only I could get what it looks like in real life to match photoshop...:rotfl:

Work has been crazy, and the shop that is going to be doing the install is super busy, and I want them to have the time they need without interruptions to do the work. So I told them to finish up what they need to do, and let me know when they are ready.

Still on schedule to be operational before oct. 20.

Holy sh*1.... this looks so awesome...

Thanks! I think it should look pretty rad.

Today is a somewhat sad day for me. The GTR's are officially gone, I removed them early this morning, and just got back from meeting up with another Vancouver IS member who purchased them from me.

I had a great run with those wheels, and they will be dearly missed, but next spring I am looking forward to switching things up.

There was some talk awhile back about a proper sound recording of the Invidia. Well here it is:

Shot with the car fully warm, with a sennheiser MKE400, studio corrected for mic input levels.

This is exactly what the car sounds like in person.

*Including the rattle because I have one of my heat shields left to remove...lolol

Pretty sure yours still sounds better.

Gotta get those HFC's, and then re-tune. Thinking about headers at the same time, but the labour for them is death.

Buddy told me yesterday headers will be 6 hours to install that is only his guess but even if he works on it the whole day. I can ask him to charge us 50% off, just saying.
The only thing he said, it will be loud lols.
