Its been a a long and hectic day. Out of know where the lights started flashing while driving couple days ago. I thought my 6 month old brake pads were the culprit but no it was much more serious more like human error! How can a reliable car like my first love FX do this to me? Sorry this time i fucked up!
Symptoms i experienced today:
(1) as im driving on the freeway around 65mph my speedometer drops to 30mph then back up to 50mph then drops to 0mph (dont forget im still crusing at 65mph).
(2)I read somewhere that bad cruise control modules go bad, so i checked to see if the cruise control was working and nope the set light kept flashing while the cruise control was engaged.
(3)Another issue i experienced was while traveling highway speeds my car was losing power, kind of like if the throttle body was going bad so it was accelerating right.

Came home opened the hood and checked my fujita air intake to see if its intact or anything broken and boom. The fujit air intake filter is sitting on top of the ground wiring harness!. Last time i serviced the intake assembly i must of installed the intake filter this way never noticing if it was contacting those wires. The wire is torn and the grounding circular metal tab that goes under the 10mm bolt was snapped. So i ended up wrapping the exposed wiring with electical tape then loosened the grounding bolt and stuck back the tab under the bolt and tightened (TEMPORARY FIX). After the fix i went back in the car and drove back and forth in the parking lot and didnt get the lights on like i did days ago. Ill update you guys tomorrow if this indeed fixed the problem and if so GROUNDING HARNESS is what to suspect.

I have the takeda CAI and I had to move those wires out of the way some and where you bolt the intake to the plenum I added a few washers to clear them even better.
