Brake rotors change

Hi. I'm about to buy new brake rotors to my 2008 FX and I have some questions:
1- the brakes system is the same from 2003 to 2008?

2- if I only change the rotors for an aftermarket rotors (no big brake kit) just rotors, I have to change the lines to Stainless steel or something?

Thanks

You do not need to change to stainless lines for any reason, but you should put new pads on when you get your new rotors.

I just did this on my FX, and I found that I needed a really large breaker bar to get the bolts off that held the caliper bracket on (an impact gun wouldn't do it).

I have the FX35 sport and bought the rotors for the standard FX35 with no issues.

I would recommend you go over this link:

A lot of discussion was made on rotors, pads and brake lines. You might pick up some answers here. As for me, I recently upgraded to sports slotted / drilled from StopTech. Felt the difference and very happy with the upgrade.

If you are looking at a full kit, you might find this link useful:

Good! thanks
