Brake pads for the G37 BBK

Hi all

I purchased the G37 Akebono BBK and upgraded to the StopTech slotted/drilled rotors for the front, OEM rotors for the rear. I also ordered the Stoptech Stainless Steel Brake Lines.

My question is do I need to upgrade the brake pads for the front to those high performance (Hawks, Ferodo etc) or I can still use the OEM pads comes with the BBK for the StopTech rotors?

It is for my daily driving, I want all around performance (minimumn noise, minimum dust and better stopping power). From what I have read so far, it seems like OEM pads did perform well and a lot of memebers are returning to OEM pads.

High performance pads tend to squeak. So you want quiet, just go with OEM or PosiQuiet Pads (OEM grade). Your BBK upgrade should already give you improvement on your stopping power. If you need more stopping power, then go with performance pads. I don't think there are all around pads.
 
Yes as white hair said if you want high performance there always have an trade off. I would say stick with OEM pads since you want some quiet and can stop you.
Your set up is given you engough power. Make sure you have good tires on as well :d

hey sdfm …. do you have any links of where i can purchase these things ….

i need new brakes and new rotors all the way around …..
i just wanna know exactly what im buying for the front brakes rotors and calibers
and same for the back ….. i believe the g37 bbk are the brake set with calibers … and the stop tech are rotors are for the font and oem are for the back ….
just also want links so i can just click swipe and purchase away … when i search i get alot of random forums that come up...

also are they slotted drilled for the g37 that fit for the ex or are they for the ex 35
