Brake Noise

My 2003 FX35 has some serious brake squeal when slowing to a stop. It's most noticable when the brakes are warm. My rotors don't look too glazed and the pads have plenty of life left. Are stock rotors thick enough to be turned and are there certain brake pads that usually don't squeal?
Thanks, Dave

Ussually they squeal in reverse to stop when cold.
Sounds just the opposite with you. Have your rotors been turned before?

On the topic of pads, what brand of pad (or if you know of a good website) does the fx need for the front brake pads? I am in need of new pads of front and want to make sure I purchase something that will be good. thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Front Rotor

Rear Rotor

Maximum runout 0.05mm (0.0020 in)

There is no fix on the first gen. 09+ has the same problem?
No fix??? That's not cool! Ya, I have an 09 and it's been driving me nuts! I hate reversing out of my driveway and parking spots.

Depending on wear/warp, your rotors can be turned down a total of 2mm before you need to replace them. In terms of warping or run-out, that's a lot. Before switching to aftermarket rotors, I turned down my fronts three times over five years. Never had any squealing problems with the OEM rotors/pads.

i drive infiniti fx35 2006 model. my brakes started to squeale. so i installed new OEM brake pads and rotors at infiniti service workshop. and after like 10 days from installing the new parts, again the brakes squeals whether moving forward or in reverse.
Does changing the brake system solves the problem???
