Trying to pick a paint color for the brake calipers, here's what I have it narrowed down to:

Gold Flake:

Burnt Copper:

Daytona Yellow:

What do you guys think? I'm starting to think the yellow may be a bit too much. Perhaps the gold flake?

Depends on the color of the car. Plus if you pick anything else besides yellow. Its good to do yellow as a base and then
the color of your choice (It brings out the shine of your color of choice)

The color of my ride is slate blue, I agree the yellow is a bit much. The calipers are already silver and do not stand out at all. Black would be too subtle for my liking. I think I'm really torn on the copper and gold.

My FX is iridium blue and I chose gold and love how it looks. I think gold will look good on blue slate as well. Here's a pic of mineac67fdb093759c4f7fdc89d4ab387da8.jpg

Ah man, that's exactly what I was looking for - somebody with a photo of a similar setup. I think I am going to sand down the infiniti logo when I prep 'em for paint and keep them blank/no logo. Perhaps a yellow-tinted primer base will work well.

Yeah, the copper is too deep, grabbing the gold enamel and searching around for some yellow-tinted primer. Thanks all...looks like I am going to have a fun project next weekend with springs, stud replacements/spacers and brake repaint.
