Bracing advice please!

yeah, I hope it can be fabbed up but I didn't see any other mounting points on the FX. The original 370Z bar wasn't any worse as well..

I'll keep everyone posted as well. After seeing the start of this thread, I purchased all the bars (with the exception of the tower). Got an e-mail back saying it would be at least 2 weeks before they came in and if I wanted to cancel. I told them I'd wait...will let you know...
 
Maybe we should have called them for a group buy discount?!

At the very least, maybe they will begin to order stock since they will have sold out twice in three months.
 
i have been driving for the past week with just the 4 lower gt spec braces. i took my stillen strut tower brace off so i can replace it with a gtspec and have the whole matching set. i can honestly say that the strut tower brace does A LOT. i had had all 5 braces in there for quite some time before, and i can honestly say that the strut tower brace does a lot more than one might think. there is significantly more body roll in cornering without it. can't wait to get mine back. i feel like i'm driving my moms highlander. well not really but you get it.
 
Since today was the day the GT Spec shipment was supposed to be heading to the distributer, I emailed to see what the status was. This is what I got back:

Thank you for checking up. The GT Spec FX bars should ship out at the beginning of next week, slightly past the ETA of 3/12, but still very close. We appreciate your patience through this delay.

GT Spec order update

Ok, we've hit the deadline and I asked for status. This is what I got. I get the impression the braces could be there tomorrow or it could be another month - though Upscale auto remains positive. The communication with this company has been good - less than 24 hours response time each time I write. I'm not giving up yet...

We are still awaiting word on the shipment of braces today. We have a number of customers waiting on G37 and FX35/FX45 braces and are doing our best to get the orders filled as soon as possible. Due to the continued delay of this backorder, we are having GT Spec ship the braces directly to the customers as soon as they receive the braces at their facility rather than have them come to us first. The most current ETA is set for today, but we must wait and see as we have not heard word of the arrival of the shipment yet. As soon as we are able to confirm that GT Spec has received the braces and shipped them out, we will issue shipment notifications that you will receive via e-mail. We appreciate your patience and support through this delay. We assure you that your order will ship as soon as possible.

this is what i got yesterday when i inquired




We have just confirmed that the GT Spec strut bars for the FX35/FX45 are set to ship tomorrow if all goes as planned with the incoming shipment. We will be sure to send a shipment notification as soon as we have tracking information.

The shipment came in today. We will be sure that you receive tracking information as soon as possible. It will probably be tomorrow before GT Spec gets the orders shipped out.
