Bought an ARK grip .. installing question.

Hey guys .. I finally decided to go and buy the ARK grip which i am soooo excited to get ( it'll be arriving tomorrow) and I'm wondering in your case where did you install it if you got an after market exhaust. My local infiniti dealer quoted me $300 which is ridiculous to be honest. should i just install it at a local shop? I don't know why but i feel more comfortable installing it at a dealer because they know the car way more than anyone else.. am i wrong?

Don't install it at a dealer, it's straight bolt on and a rip at $300. If you can... do it yourself but if not go to any muffler shop and they will easily be able to install it.

The dealer doesn't know anymore about your car for the most part. They just have access to more information, but the techs aren't any better usually. If it's not something for warranty or something that involves a complex diagnostic, avoid the dealer. Most exhaust shops charge ~$100 or less to bolt an exhaust on. It will be dependent on your area, but that's roughly the going rate. It's a couple of hours of labor on the high side.
