2004 FX45 with the Bose System. I noticed if I put my fader and balance both right in the middle, most (if not all) of the sound seems to be coming from behind me. Does this happen to everyone else? I like it best when the sound seems to be coming from the middle of the windshield. I tried changing the fader to a little bit up front, but it seems like that takes away from some of the sound. I wonder if this is just how the Bose setup works or if I might have some blown speakers or something.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, when it's cold out my CD player is pretty much useless as it skips a lot. Is that also common?

The sub in the trunk, so you should hear a little more coming from the rear I think it nornal. I have not play CD for sometimes now, but I don't recall the CD play skips any at all in the cold though.

I burn my CD's at 320kbps, and I try to make sure most of my music is also at that quality level. My CD's do not skip at all, sounds like you either have a bad burner or your CD player is starting to show its age.
