bose sub question

Have you tried listening back under the rear floor pull. Put your hand on it to feel for vibration. If it's not working you should be able to tell. Listen popping or distortion. That would prob happen first before cutting out. Kinda sounds like a loose wiring harness or wire fiber break somewhere in the factory amp feed for the sub. Hopefully your stock amp isn't going bad, that would be the next step.

where is this harness located? in the trunk? or rear passenger seat?

It's inside the subwoofer enclosure, atop the spare tire.

where can i check for loose harness as the guy above?
 
factory amp is located in very rear trunk/hatch area (rear right).
