Borla Exhaust install at shop

I'm also interested in completely getting rid of cats and running performance cats and a mod to bypass the engine light. This was a HUGE difference on my previous rides.
 
Check my thread on my 'hi im GTR and FX50 owner', I added a number of photos showing the MANY issues the stock exhaust has. I'd love to see ACTUAL photos of the Borla setup or invidia one, to see if they fixed all these issues. I'd also like to know what the Diameter of the pipes are on both brands. Honestly the stock v8 exhaust looks like something that should be on a V6. :(
 
I love the sound and look of my exhaust (thanks Andy). I personally could feel an improvement of some hidden power on my 07. Wish I had the 45...and of course an 50s but I am very pleased with the results thus far.

The most noticible difference was definitely the sound, though that's not to say that there was no performance improvement.

It really sounds mean passing some poor sap on the highway. hehe

Getting a little vibration from the Borla. Sean at WPS told me that might happen so I need to take it in and they will take care of it.

Also looking at putting the H&R springs on. Anyone have this lead to a problem with the rest of their suspension?

Sorry, dont have a second gen, but no problems on mine except I need an alignment.
 
This spring I will be getting my FX50S to lightspeed in red deer alberta and gettign them to make me custom HFC's. then a second uprev tune and we will see some gains I am sure.
 
Has anyone already done HFC's for their 50? I got the Borla fixed yesterday (some of the pipes were marked wrong from the factory for left/right) and now it is a lot less throaty.

I am looking to to replace the stock exhaust system with Borla as well. Did you order it online? How much did it cost you?

Really appreciate the help
 
Bump for the costs of the parts and also the ballpark to expect to pay for install.
 
It's usually 1 hour of labor to install it ($100-$150).
I can get you a good deal on the exhaust, but there is a wait list-2 weeks.
