Boot not opening

So, since i bought this car, the boot didn't opened.. First I fought that the electric motor is dead, but after I opened manually a few time, he isn't and it works.

Then i met a few friend of the previous owner, who told me that he intentionaly made the boot unfunctional ( i don't know why) but thing is, the buton does not work.

I removed the plastic cover, checked the wires, and indeed it seems that someone was there before.. Don't know actually what he did tough..

Does anything look diferent ?

What is "boot"? From the pictures, it looks like the trunk/hatch?

yea.. about that.. sry not from us or uk..

In Europe, the boot is the trunk. In the FX, this is the hatch.

Do you have a volt multi-meter? I would start checking for power and go from there.

In the first picture, what is this white wire? This seems out of place.
I circled it in red in this attached picture.

Oh nevermind, it seems like someone just used electrical tape to tidy up the cables.

Another funny thing today..

So, as I was trying new fuses, suddenly, one worked.

But, what it did, was to open the hatch , and then it stayed opened, not even if I wanted to close it.. It just refused to close.. So I had to remove the power from the electric motor in order to close the hatch .. :/ pretty weird..

If I plug that fuse in it opens.. problem is, it doesn't close.. :/

Now, I heard that in some cases, the hatch won't work if the right actuator on the passenger side doesn't work..

On my car the actuators worked fine.. for a time.. The hatch on the other hand didn't worked since the day I got it. Now, as many others, the actuators on the right stopped working. But there I know they're broken, problem is with the hatch..
