Has anyone removed the bodyside mouldings ???? ...I know they are attached by clips and double sided tape, but I dont know if you can pull them off the door or do you have to get inside the door to release the clips ???

Turbo is your guy - he went from the 04 moldings up to the 05 moldings.
Thats what Im doing , I just got them vinyl wrapped black and i dont want to break em off

there held on with clips & double sided tape, just work from the bottom of the door & try not to bend the moldings if your going to reuse them, but hard to get them off 100% intact really...
I dont care so much if I break the ones coming off, I recently replaced all of the shadow mouldings and 1 of the clips broke off ad is still inside the car somewhere
I didnt want broken clips rolling around in my doors if possible. I also messed up my headliner pulling down the overhead console because I was too impatient to find out how it was attached first :tonguey:

you really can't get at the clips from inside anyway, there down at the very bottom , worse case if a piece of the clip breaks off then maybe removing a panel you may be able to get it out, but it'll be in the very bottom & hard to get I think
