BMW S1000RR laps at Miller Motorsports park!

I have not turned a lap on a race track on two wheels in over 11 years. With that said, when I got the call to test a BMW S1000RR at Miller, I snatched it up. This bike is amazing and the motor is tuned to 200 rear wheel HP........its a BEAST. Here is a video doing a few laps on the perimeter course. Too much fun!

that race track looks like fun, I wish I could have a chance to ride it... bike is nice :drool: but i'd be paranoid to lay such a beautiful machine down, so I would probably never push it to the limit...
 
Nice... how would you rate against other lite bikes? I feel pretty comfortable on my track-only ZX-10r at the track, but it feels quite a bit different from the time when I took my street GSX-R 750 to track...
 
I have little reference to offer any insight. Last thousand I rode was a 2003 GSXR1000 at Willow Springs. This was a full blown superbike and sure it was fast but technology has made leaps and bounds since then and all my racing was done on 600's.
