blue headlights and fog lights

Just go to DDMtuning.com a little cheaper same thing. Also, Lifetime warranty.

You will want to get the D2S bulbs only for the headlights.

Foglights will need the full kit:
FX is an 03-06= 9006 kit
FX is an 06+ = H8 kit

Try and not go anything above 6000K. You light output (Lumens) decreases drastically. 6K is the usual number of tradeoff of blue and output on the ground.


Plus messing with that website you provided.... I can't see where you can just order the headlight bulbs? on DDMTuning.com they are only $15....and $40 for a whole kit.

Second that ^. I have DDM D2S 6K for the headlights and bought the H8 6K fog light kit for my FX and it matches really nicely. Not too blue and definitely better than OEM setup. Great price too!
 
Actually just looked....

They dont have the slim line DDM in stock, and only have the raptor kit for $30. I just got this kit and it works fine.

Had the DDM slim ballast fail (2yrs), and I just ordered a whole new kit (raptor) and sent the bad DDM ballast in for replacement. Lifetime warranty!

Raptor and DDM kits are made by the same manufacturer...Apexcone. Only differences are: Raptor has the ignitor built into the case and bigger overall. Slimline version is very thin, but has the ignitor wired in-line on the outside of the case. DDM slim line has longer wires too.... as I found out trying to install the Raptor kit in the same place didn't work, as the lines weren't long enough.

I've had one Apexcone kit for 4 years now without a problem. They used to sell under Xtec...but the parent company has always been called Apexcone. Now they sell their kits under Raptor and DDM....same lifetime warranty

FYI... 6k is not really blue. Its white, with a slight hint of blue. If you are looking for blue then 8k is your best bet. However, Toy4x is correct when he says that your lumens will decrease dramatically at 8k.

Do some searching, there are many pics of how 6k and 8k look both on this forum and online... and decide for yourself if you can compromise with the 6k look.
