The fog bulb on my drivers side is blown. I need to replace it rather quickly as it goes in the shop for inspection soon. Is any bulb better than the other when not doing an upgrade. Are the bulbs Halogen? Can anyone recommend a simple "plug and play" bulb until I get time to install an upgraded lighting kit? Thanks.

Halogen, any H8 bulb from Autozone/pepboys will do. Opportunity to upgrade to a HID kit?
Not at the moment. My car has to be inspected by the end of September, goes in for the repairs at the end of this week from hitting the two deer, and then off to have the dash replaced. Thanks for the help. I used search but when it comes to lighting, I know nothing.
