Blacked Out Headlights

hey
im kind of new to the forums and i've been seeing alot of the blacked out headlights and i've been wanting to get these for my fx...
i know some of you do it yourself and buy it online. could someone maybe point me out to a thread where it explains how to do it yourself, or explain it quickly...or if i can get it online, can someone point me to the site?

If you type in "blacked out headlights" or even just "blacked" in the search box at the top right of the page it will list numerous threads on the topic.

number one thing i hated about some other infiniti site was that if you asked any question there was ALWAYS someone jumping down your throat internet yelling at you to search....

That happens at most automotive forums though. It does get old seeing the same threads pop up over and over with the same question.

it does get old... but hes never seen that question before... its new to him.. how does anyone know hes never used a forum before... i never had before my infiniti... had no idea there was a search section... so i left the yellin grumpy old fu$# site and came here where people were helpful and respectful
yes point out there is a search button... but be polite about it

+ 1 Well said...or if the question annoys you that much just don't respond and move on to what interests you...
 
Do you have sport or non sport head lights ? I had the non sport ones, and after buying a set of sport, I didn't have the need to black out what I had. You might want to compare and see if that would work for you.
 
Non sport head lights have chrome inside. Sport ones are not pitch black per say, but kinda like dark chrome.
