Black on Copper (working on "black" part) :: 2003 Infiniti FX35

how big is the drop? one thing I am worried, I have a set of 20" Axis that are going on in a week, and I was just test fitting, they seem to stick out just a little bit more, so I am afraid that it will rub when I lower. Did you roll your fenders in the back?
^ Spacers look good! Any thought on lowering next? If you get with coils you can get a really nice drop and look. Here's my old setup with the "standard" factory lowered height on the coils and 25mm spacers. You can get a good glimpse since we both have coppers.

The drop was huge, at least 3-4". Even with OEM 20's you will have to roll your fenders. This is on coils but with springs you don't have to. The general census here: coils > springs. :good:

OK, this is just a little check list for me to do. I want to do these, but the main roadblock is other projects I have going on. I got a track 2007 Kawasaki ZX-10r to get ready for opening of track season in march. So much work.... but here it goes...

1. 20" Axis Ordens (already have them, just got to mount them)
2. KP Technologies reverse view mirror mod (have the unit, need to be wired in)
3. CNT high flow cats
4. Akebono Gen. 2 caliper retrofit front
5. Akebono Gen. 2 caliper retrofit back
6. Audi Q5 turn signals + SimCarbon wrap mirrors
7. Aftermarket audio unit
8. SimCarbon interior wrap
9. SimCarbon hood, roof, tailgate wrap
...

more to come....

Well, not really... I really don't use my trunk much, so it does not bother me too much (though, I have to take it out on long trips and its annoying). I like the sound of two 12" subs, so I guess I wouldn't mind them on the sides (in custom boxes), but I am not even sure anyone is making those boxes anymore...

Love the ride,,but I have to be honest. Do you really prefer that sub-box like that?

The only feedback I got from the dudes who actually installed it (Not the wicked crew),,was the box it's self was a bit thin in the walls,,they offered to do a few more layers, but I wasn't down for that. They also mentioned possibly some poly-fill,,some food for thought for those monster 12's....good luck,,let me know how it goes

Yep, those are Pat's old wheels
Nice list of mods. Did you buy the Axis Ordens from another ISr - Pmanliu?

Well, I am not confident as you to do all car :rotfl: so I picked the most "flat" parts I can do. Actually, I was always a sucker for aftermarket hoods, so I kind of thinking maybe picking up an extra hood of any color, mod it a little bit and then SimCarbon wrap it
Great list:good:. Not feeling the #9 though. Maybe roof only?

10. Lower the car (if I can find a shop near by who can roll my fenders)

yes, there are soooo many things I want to do... two constraints though, time and money... slowly, I will get where I want
